🇬🇧 Ministry of Defence
In 2002, two Humberside police officers reported a UFO while patrolling in Hull. The incident occurred in the early hours of October 17th, when an anonymous witness called the police to describe two luminous objects in the sky. The officers confirmed seeing one of them, which emitted colorful lights and moved in an unusual manner. Although the UK Ministry of Defence reviewed the report, it concluded there was no evidence of unauthorized military activity. However, witnesses insisted it was neither a natural phenomenon nor an aircraft. The case was archived, but remains a mystery to those who witnessed it.
The official report described the object as appearing like a bright star with multiple colors and erratic movement. Local police and a helicopter also observed it, though could not identify it with certainty. Despite investigations, no clear explanation was found, and the case was closed unresolved. Such incidents, though not uncommon, continue to spark curiosity and debate about what was truly seen in the sky that day.
