Summary

In 1952, a sworn witness named Oscar Linke, former mayor of Gleimershausen in East Germany, gave a statement before a judge in Berlin. According to Linke, his 11-year-old daughter, Gabriella, pointed out a strange object in a forest clearing. Upon approaching, he realized it wasn't a deer but a metallic object shaped like a large frying pan, between 13 and 15 meters in diameter. This object had two rows of holes and a black conical tower about three meters high. Linke observed two figures in shiny metallic clothing approaching the object, disappearing inside, and then the craft slowly lifting off, spinning like a top.

Linke's testimony was considered unusual and was marked as unevaluated information by authorities. The object, according to his account, left a fresh circular imprint in the ground matching the shape of the tower, convincing him it was real. After escaping to West Berlin, Linke believed it was a secret Soviet military machine. His testimony generated interest and was published in a Greek newspaper, though it was never confirmed whether it was a genuine phenomenon, a hoax, or an extraordinary vision.
