According to an unidentified newspaper, Klein detailed the construction of flying disc prototypes between 1941 and 1945. One of these reached speeds of 1300 miles per hour within three minutes. However, after the Soviet occupation, most records were destroyed, and little is known of the final results. Additionally, an Italian inventor, Scipione Mattolin, obtained a patent for a flying disc capable of 3000 km/h, but it was rejected by Italian authorities. Mattolin planned to offer his design elsewhere, including the United States.
