In October 1968, three military personnel observed an unusual aerial phenomenon over La Línea in southeastern Spain. At 22:45, they saw three intense white lights forming an equilateral triangle, with one light fixed at the front and the other two swapping positions. The object crossed from northwest to southeast in just 10 seconds, at around 3,000 feet altitude, without emitting any noise or acoustic signal. Although the witnesses were familiar with aircraft, they couldn't identify the object.
The INTA-NASA Space Station in Robledo de Chavela did not register any activity that day, which did not rule out the possibility of an unknown natural or technological phenomenon. The official report notes the lack of precise data and the short duration of the sighting as limitations for a conclusive assessment. Nevertheless, the object's trajectory and speed were considered consistent with low-altitude high-speed flight, although its complete silence raised doubts.
