Strange Light Sighting in Burgos

Summary

In January 1975, four soldiers of the Spanish Air Force reported strange lights on the Burgos-Santander highway. While traveling in a car, the driver observed a bright white-yellow light, shaped like an inverted bell, descending towards the ground. They stopped the vehicle and, upon exiting, saw the light stationary near the ground. Later, while resuming the journey, they observed three or four smaller lights, also static. The witnesses did not mention any physical objects, only the glow. No photographs or drawings were taken, but they made sketches resembling globes or bells. The soldiers' statements were largely consistent, though lacking specific details. The official report found no conclusive evidence and recommended declassification of the case.
