Strange Phenomenon Sighted in Mallorca in 1979

In February 1979, a commercial flight in Mallorca reported a bright object with green reflections crossing its path. The pilot of flight AF-530 described a white ball that passed below the aircraft, from left to right, in a southwest to northeast direction. This testimony was recorded by Palma air traffic control, and the file includes a copy of the conversation. Although the pilot mentioned the word "meteorite," the description did not match known natural phenomena.

The recording was submitted to the Air Force High Command and declassified in 1995. No reasons were found to keep the case classified.
