🇪🇸 Ejército del Aire
In August 1982, a resident of Blanes (Girona) observed an unusual aerial phenomenon described as a cylindrical object between 50 and 100 meters in diameter. The sighting occurred at 10:30 PM from the rooftop of a building overlooking the sea, with seven people present. The witness used binoculars to observe the object, which was slowly rotating clockwise and displaying intermittent lights. The object was silent and maintained a constant speed, similar to a commercial aircraft. The witness meticulously detailed its appearance, movement, and features, even offering hypotheses about its operation and possible technologies. The report was submitted to the Air Force General Headquarters, but no further investigation or contact with the witness was recorded.
The document, now declassified, includes drawings of the object and technical reflections from the witness on its structure and possible propulsion systems. Despite the detailed observation and multiple witnesses, no official follow-up was conducted. The case was archived without definitive conclusions, but its thorough description and lack of conventional explanations make it a compelling account in the history of UFO sightings in Spain.
