In October 1954, a witness in Wimereux was attempting to photograph a dolmen when he spotted an elliptical, light-colored object moving northeast. He took two photos and sent the negatives to the Radar magazine. However, the gendarmerie only learned about the event fifteen days later and failed to locate the witness. Years later, the GEPAN reviewed the case but found no published photos and could not track down the witness. The observation was brief, lasting only seconds, and the object disappeared before the witness could adjust his camera. With a limited description and no available images, the case was classified as unexplained.
