Summary

On July 3, 1992, two 16-year-old teenagers spotted a red rugby-ball-shaped object surrounded by flames. It hovered motionless for a few seconds before dropping rapidly toward the ground. The next day the youths found flattened grass and marks on the soil at the site. However, the investigation determined these ground disturbances were caused by severe weather conditions, as other nearby fields showed the same state. The luminous phenomenon itself received no explanation.
