Summary

A resident of Saint-Paul-lès-Monestier was involved in two separate sightings in 1992. The first took place on July 14 around 2 AM, when they noticed a very bright white light whose brilliance varied slowly. The second occurred in early September around 11 PM, this time with their daughter present: both watched an oval, extremely luminous phenomenon glide silently across the sky for about one minute.

Neither observation fits easily with conventional explanations such as aircraft or meteors. GEIPAN classified the case as C, acknowledging unusual phenomena but lacking conclusive evidence. The consistency between the two sightings and the presence of a second witness during the latter add weight to the file, though the absence of additional technical data prevents further conclusions.
