In August 1962, the San Javier Air Base recorded several sightings of unexplained aerial phenomena. A flight officer observed a bright light over the Monte Cabezo, which displayed abrupt and unconventional movements, impossible to attribute to an airplane or helicopter. Witnesses, including high-ranking personnel, could not identify the object's shape and no radar contact was established. Despite multiple observations and the use of binoculars and a theodolite, no clear description of the phenomenon was obtained.

The classified reports highlight that the object's movements were atypical and did not match conventional aircraft. Additionally, the phenomenon was observed on three separate occasions, with similar characteristics, leading to its classification as an "unexplained phenomenon".
